This is a blog for people who teach Spanish, and who like talking about issues and problems from their courses, and ideas on how to be a better Spanish college professor.

Does this mean I am famous now? Aggresive troll in my post about Humana health insurance
For the first time since this blog inception, a brainless, aggressive troll left a comment on my rant against Humana, my health insurance. I highly doubt that such a person is a regular reader of the blog, so I can only assume that s/he found the post googling Humana. It impresses me that my blog will come up high enough on a Google search when the topic is health insurance and not Latin American crime fiction. So I can only ask: does this mean I am famous now, important enough that idiots will bother leaving comments more appropriate for RedState and other conservative blogs? I better go back to writing about Latin American civilization materials and leave Humana alone. So much attention will harm my research productivity (snark).

You very first troll! This is a milestone. Congratulations, my friend. :-) You have arrived.
ReplyDeleteI have a troll right now who keeps trying to leave the comment that all Ukrainians are ugly. Maybe I should just let the poor creature get this idea out for therapeutic purposes. :-)
Clarissa, you are the example I try to emulate!!! And yes, we all know that talk therapy works, so just let him/her say that as many times as s/he wants, and just reply, "Yes, yes..."
